More or less than you expected to spend?
Slightly more but that was due to amount people drank and paying for day after the wedding as well.
Where did your wedding budget come from?
A quarter from each set of parents, and the rest from savings and small loan.
Biggest Splurge?
Fireworks and the catering.
Biggest Savings?
Our photographers were friends and people brought a bottle of spirits for the bar.
Honeymoon
We had our honeymoon in France and the Hebrides in Scotland.
Were you happy with what you spent on your wedding?
Yes, it was for a whole weekend, treating my friends and family for accommodation and best time of my life. Wouldn’t do anything differently and wish I could do it again!
Any Tips or Advice?
Don’t worry too much about the stuff on the tables like flowers or the cutlery or the plates. I promise no one notices as long as it’s nice. It doesn’t have to be perfect or even match a colour scheme.
