Tips for Wearing Boots on your Wedding Day

  • Unlike lots of other wedding shoes, you'll hopefully get lots of future wear from wedding shoes, so find a pair that you're super comfortable in, and that are versatile enough to wear again.
  • While we've listed mostly white boots here, don't be afraid to try out a little colour, burgundy is gorgeous for autumn weddings, blush is so romantic, and metallics will be fun for a party wedding.
  • Think about the style of your dress and your overall look when choosing your boots, more voluminous gowns or mini dresses will pair well with a sturdy boot, while a slinky dress might call for something daintier.
  • Brown boots, or boots with embroidery, fringing or beaded embellishment are a gorgeous idea for boho weddings - if you're going for an effortless, laid-back vibe, you can always rock your own favourite boots, rather than buying something new!
  • As with all wedding shoes, be conscious of heel height and consider the length of your dress and how much you'll have to walk - breaking them in is a must!
