Every girl loves a bunch of flowers, and while the fresh ones are sweet-smelling, a nice floral dress will last you a lot longer, especially if you've a lot of summer weddings to go to.  Continuing our quest for perfect wedding guest dresses, we've scoured the shops online and off, for flowery dresses of every shape and style. So whether you're a bride to be looking for a day-after dress, or a guest at a wedding - from mini-dresses to maxi dresses, sophisticated shifts to flirty fifties inspired prom dresses,  we should be able to find the dress for you...

Flower Power Mini-Dresses

First up are the mini-dresses, for those among us with great legs, great bum, great boobs or all 3 (aren't you the lucky ones!)

You might have to raid the piggy bank for this gorgeous orange silk orchid print mini-dress from Matthew Williamson for €685 but if you've got 5 weddings - that's just over 100 euro per wear (no I'm not convinced either - but god loves a trier!)

Next up, a striking yellow and black asymetric print dress from Acne, at €200 a little more reasonable. While this cute blue and pink floral mini-dress is just €39 from Rare

Romantic Maxi-Dresses

A Maxi Dress is great if you don't love your legs or bum, the floaty fabrics skim and flow over your lower half, as they usually fall from just below the bust. If you are a little shorter go for a smaller print, as the repetition will give the illusion of longer length.

First there's the pink strappy washed print in a silk-blend from Moschino at Net-a-Porter at €533 - the label might be Moschino Cheap 'n'Chic but for me at least this would be an investment. Also available at Net-a-Porter is this yellow multi colour print maxi-dress from Adam €522. This larger print in black and peach from French Connection is more forgiving to those with lumps and bumps they want to disguise (£90)

Structured Dresses

For a more fitted, structured look we couldn't decide between these 6, eventhough they are all very different. A structured dress can look more sophisticated and is perfect for ladies in main roles such as Mother of the Bride or Groom...

Yellow is definitely a trend this season (subject of a future post perhaps?) and for a Mother of the Bride or Groom this yellow blossom print dress with hints of orange and blue would be really unusual and stunning - from Kaliko it's just £110. A little more expensive, but no more gorgeous is this Vivienne Westwood pink and blue print for €550. Feeling a  little bolder? Try this black and primary colour print mini-dress from Zara at dresses.ie

Second row:

Another fab choice for a Mother of the Bride or Groom dress is this red rose print from Phase Eight and at £89 how could you go wrong - team with ruby red lipstick for a show/wedding stopper. Warehouse have this so-cute pink rose shift dress, perfect for a summer wedding only £60. And then, for those wild at heart, an orange and grey mini-dress with a ruched detail  from Karen Millen (€199) will certainly turn heads - try a black fascinator and be the best dressed guest at any wedding.

Flirty Full-Skirted Dresses

A little bit flirty, a little bit fifties, this last bunch of dresses, have a bit more skirt, perfect for those with more hour-glass shapes, or for giving ladies with larger bums or busts, the hour-glass silhouette...

This gorgeous navy blue wildflower strappy dress from Modcloth is very informal and pretty, dress it up with a fitted jacket and cute heels ($54.99). Anthropologie offer this twist on floral dress with a jungle fever style -£169 available online. Oasis is on every high street so finding this dress should be no problem (€70).

Second row:

Modcloth are great for vintage looks and this pink and yellow rose print is very 60s. Completely gorgeous and probably a fantastic look for a fun bridesmaid dress is this gorgeous vintage 50s prom dress from Audrey & Grace on Etsy ($350). A little less ostentatious, a lot more casual but totally flattering is this tulip skirt navy dress from Mango €50.

The more we looked the more we found - summer 2010 is definitely the summer to wear a flower in your hair, and a whole garden on your dress!

Let us know of other fab florals you've found (lol - excuse the alliteration!)
