Fun Ideas for Injecting Colour Into Your Wedding

Easy ways to pop some personality into your wedding

We love colour! While we're all for elegant weddings with soft or neutral hues, we have a serious soft spot for pops of colour and celebrations that are packed with personality. And that's what today's wedding inspiration is all about, showing you easy ways to bring bright tones and fun details into your wedding, from the flowers, to the stationery, and the table decor to the style. The styled shoot was captured by Megan Morales Photography, who tells us her goal was "to stray away from the 'classic wedding' and portray fun throughout every detail."

How fun are these shoes!? We always enjoy a little playful fluff on a pair of sandals.

Grooms don't have to be stuck with grey or navy on their wedding day, there are plenty of ways to add a little (or a lot of!) colour to your look.

Simple monochrome stationery can still have lots of personality, thanks to cool, contemporary graphics.

We love how these bright blooms pair perfectly with the other details, from the bride's earrings to the table pompoms.

What a babe! This strappy gown with a dipped back is a gorgeous choice for an easy-going wedding-day look.

DIY pom poms, bright linens and mix-and-match tableware is a great way to introduce colour to your decor.

These painterly details are so easy to recreate at home, even if you're a novice artist!

Painted wedding cakes are a huge trend! We love the idea of using instant photo prints as a fun, personalised alternative to a classic cake topper.
