'From the beginning of our wedding planning, we knew that Kilronan was the only venue we wanted for our wedding reception. Having been to the hotel on numerous occasions, we always felt there was something special about Kilronan and we were not disappointed! We started off by meeting with Shayne who was very helpful but also relaxed and in no way pushy which we immediately loved. We then met Clare at our menu tasting who shortly after, took over our wedding planning and had the same easy going nature as ourselves while still being incredibly organised and professional. She was always quick to respond to any queries we had and made the whole process as stress free as possible. Clare gave us great advice in the lead up and understood from the outset that we wanted to keep our day simplistic and relaxed with good food, good music and a great night for our guests. I have to commend the bar staff in Kilronan, for such a large number of guests, the bar was incredibly well ran and staff were efficient which made for very happy guests. Many people commented after the wedding on how much they enjoyed the venue, especially those who had never visited Kilronan before. 'We got engaged in March 2022 and went to Kilronan a week later to have a "look around" and had booked our date for January 2023 before we left - we were that blown away with what was on offer and the friendly/relaxed/excited manner we were met with. From start to finish, over the 10 months, both Shayne and Jessica were a dream to work with. No request or query was ever too much and it was always met with a very prompt reply. Our food tasting experience was amazing and we never thought that the standard of service and food could be that good for 280+ guests on our big day but it was that and so much more. As for the actual day, the whole team at Kilronan were absolutely incredible from the moment we arrived to departing the following day. The waiting staff, service, food and beverages were all 10/10. Our guests have all been so complimentary about the whole day and about the warm vibe and buzz around the hotel.
